SQL Delta V6 is completely separate to SQL Delta Version 5 or any previous version. Because of this separation V6 can be installed without the need to uninstall version 5. Your version 5 key will work with version 6.

When you purchase a license of SQL Delta you also receive a product updates subscription which gives you access to SQL Delta updates, whether they are small bug fix updates or complete version upgrades. The initial subscription cost is included in the purchase price.

When your subscription expires you can continue to use SQL Delta however you can only use the last available version prior to your subscription expiry. In some cases attempting to upgrade to version 6 will fail because your subscription has expired. You can check your subscription expiry date at client.sqldelta.com

Version 6 projects and related files are completely different in layout to version 5 (or earlier) projects. For example the command line process is completely different in V6 and there is no longer a need to edit the project file.

V6 does have a project import option that can read old projects and convert them into new V6 projects. V6 projects cannot be saved as V5 projects.

Command line projects must be manually changed and the command line specific functionality added to the new On Completion Events.
